In a disturbing development, a Texas man has been apprehended for alleged rape and human trafficking attempt in Baton Rouge. The incident unfolded at a local motel, drawing significant attention from law enforcement.
As reported by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the distressing events occurred on October 12 at a motel situated on Siegen Lane. Brian Moore, 24, is accused of traveling with a 20-year-old woman and her friend from Texas to Baton Rouge. While at the motel, Moore and the victim waited in his car as the friend rented a room, purportedly to meet a client.
According to the victim’s statement, Moore attempted to coerce her into prostitution. When she resisted and tried to escape, Moore allegedly responded with violence, grabbing and slapping her. The situation escalated as Moore is said to have forced the victim into the backseat of his car, where he hit her, tore off her pants, and raped her.
