Country Musician Jimmie Allen Sued for Alleged Sexual Battery and Assault

Country music artist Jimmie Allen is facing a lawsuit from his former manager, who has accused him of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking, and emotional distress.

The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous due to still working in the music industry, claims that while working for Allen’s management company, Wide Open Music, the artist repeatedly sexually abused and harassed her for over a year.

In response to the allegations, Allen’s label, BBR Music Group, has suspended all activity with the artist, effective immediately. The Country Music Association also removed Allen from the lineup for the upcoming CMAFest in Nashville, where he was scheduled to perform on June 11 alongside country music legends Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw.

In addition to these cancellations, Allen was also removed as the commencement speaker for Delaware State University’s graduation ceremony and was replaced by Delaware Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester.

The lawsuit has raised serious concerns about sexual misconduct and abuse within the country music industry. Many fans and industry insiders have expressed support for the woman and called for a thorough investigation into the allegations against Allen.

The Jimmie Allen sexual assault, battery, and trafficking case highlights the importance of addressing sexual harassment and assault in all industries, including the music industry. It is crucial that victims of such abuse feel safe and supported when speaking out about their experiences.
