A shocking case involving sex trafficking has emerged surrounding Soul Massage, located at 5000 Highway 93 South. Yanbin Bao and Richard Bushey face charges of felony promoting prostitution and trafficking of persons for their alleged involvement in illegal commercial sex operations.
On May 30, an individual cleaning the property was approached by an Asian woman driving a maroon Mazda with a New York license plate. The woman proposed taking over the massage parlor lease, offering more money to continue the illicit business.
On June 6, authorities located the maroon Mazda at a Missoula hotel, where the female driver, identified as 55-year-old Hui Wang, was arrested. Wang was found in possession of multiple cell phones, U.S. currency, and a condom. Further investigation uncovered prostitution advertisements linked to the Flushing/Bronx area in New York, associated with the phone found in Wang’s possession.
A search of Wang’s hotel room revealed condoms, sexual devices, and additional electronics, indicating her involvement in prostitution while in Missoula. Evidence suggested Wang had traveled from another state to Montana for the purpose of her illicit massage and prostitution enterprise. Tennessee authorities were also investigating Wang’s role in an illegal massage parlor.
Jane Doe, a witness from the Bao and Bushey case, confirmed Wang’s employment at Soul Massage and revealed her involvement in providing sexual services for compensation. Doe disclosed that Wang and another woman were scouting for a new location in Missoula to establish another illicit massage parlor.
Wang now faces charges of felony attempted sex trafficking in the Soul Massage sex trafficking case and is being held in custody at the Missoula County Detention Facility. Given her lack of local contacts, foreign national status, and the belief that other co-conspirators are at large, the State has requested a $150,000 bail and issued a warrant.
