LOS ANGELES, California — Los Angeles Sheriff Robert Luna is set to reveal the successful culmination of a weeklong human trafficking operation during a news conference on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. “Operation Reclaim and Rebuild,” saw the collaboration of over 95 federal, state, and local agencies, along with various specialized task forces across California.
A press release issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Monday highlighted the widespread nature of the effort. “California law enforcement and the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force made hundreds of arrests and rescued adult and juvenile female victims,” the release stated.
