LOS ANGELES, California — A California man, Enqiang He, age 41, was sentenced for his part in a sex trafficking ring operating in the Twin Cities area. On Friday, February 23, 2024, a judge ordered Enqiang He to serve a 17-month term at St. Cloud prison, but due to credit for time already served, he won’t have to spend additional time behind bars.
He pleaded guilty and was convicted in December on one charge of receiving profits from prostitution. Two other charges related to prostitution and trafficking were dropped as part of his plea deal. He, along with two others, was charged in connection with a sex trafficking case in Roseville and Eagan, following an anonymous tip received by Roseville officers.
