Vacaville, California – A medical practitioner finds himself at the center of a disturbing controversy, as allegations of sexual abuse at Dixon clinic surfaced against him.
Dr. Andy Yongde Zhu is currently facing a civil lawsuit that has been filed in Solano County Superior Court. Furthermore, the California Medical Board is actively investigating these serious allegations, with the potential outcome being the revocation of Dr. Zhu’s medical license.
One courageous individual, who has chosen to be identified only by her first name, Tara, has come forward to share her harrowing experience. Tara revealed that she had attempted to report instances of sexual misconduct several years ago, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. “I felt stupid that I even thought I could get help. I felt really let down,” Tara lamented.
Tara is among three women who have initiated legal action against Dr. Zhu and his former employer, Dixon Family Practice, a medical facility affiliated with Community Medical Centers.
The lawsuit alleges that Dr. Zhu sexually molested these three women during the period spanning from 2014 to 2020, when they were under his care at the clinic. Additionally, the lawsuit contends that the clinic itself turned a blind eye to these egregious acts, effectively allowing them to transpire.
In 2014, Tara had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Zhu at Dixon Family Practice, seeking a medication refill. However, what should have been a routine medical visit took a distressing turn as she found herself subjected to inappropriate physical contact by the doctor. Understandably shaken, Tara promptly left the premises, her trust in the medical profession profoundly shaken.
